......................................................................
FeedMasters.com needs YOU!

We need bloggers to update videos in our players. It's a great way to get attention to your website. You could make a few bucks from donations.

Contribute to our site while advertising yours!

Become a Feed Master. Get your link on other people's sites!
Put your donation button on ours!

It's simple, fun and free! Here's how it works:

Step 1. First, suggest a video theme* to FeedMasters.com via our contact form.

*A video theme should not be too broad but something specific, like a television show, a YouTube personality or guru, or a particular subject. Examples would be The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, lonelygirl15, ysabellabravetalk, or sports bloopers. These are just some. There are literally thousands! Be creative.

Step 2. Go to Blogger.com. If we reply to your suggestion with a notification that your theme has been accepted, you will then need to create a fresh blog at Blogger.com If you don't already have an account at Blogger.com don't worry! There is no charge to sign up or post blog entries there. It's a totally free blogging site. Go here to sign up! No other blog sites will be accepted!

Step 3. Create your fresh blog. Once you've signed up at Blogger (assuming you don't already have an account there), you will need to create a blog. Choose "Minima" and only "Minima" (any color) as your template!
Please do not use any fancy or other blog skins as they will be rejected.

Step 4. Post to your blog.
The blog will contain only two posts by you and, except for the video theme, captions, links and your donation button, should look very similar to this example blog.

The first post you make will contain your PayPal donation button and the following text:

In the title of the post, it should read: "
Grab the code - Make a donation!"

In the actual post field, you will write the following three lines:

"
Grab codes for the above video feed [here]" (Where "here" is a link to the player codes...We will supply this link and you will add it later)

Make a donation to this feed master. Click on the donation button below (PayPal):
"

Below all that in the same post field will be your PayPal donation button. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can sign up here.

Next you will need to grab the code for your donation button.

Once you have a PayPal account, click on "Merchant Services" in your account menu, "Website Payments Standard" and then "Accept Contributions". Click on "Get Started" and create your donation button.

When you come to the part where it reads "
Click "Yes" to encrypt your payment button", please check the "No" box as encryption may interfere with our html to rss agregator and people may not be able to pay you. So please choose "No", if you want your button to work.

Next, grab the donation button code and paste it into the bottom of your first blog post. Then click "Publish Post".

If you have any trouble with this step, just use this example blog as a reference as to what the posts are supposed to look like. Keep referencing it until you get it right. We want your posts done this way so they look exactly like the video players on the main page of our site when we add your feed to our page.

The second post you will make will contain the embed code for your video and a short caption.

In the title field of your second post, write a short caption describing what the video is about. Don't make it too long!, as it could interfere with the way the video player will be displayed on our site and other sites. Keeping it short and sweet is the best policy.

(DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT ADD ANY LABELS TO YOUR BLOG POSTS. KEYWORDS CAN INTERFERE WITH THE DISPLAY OF OUR PLAYERS)!

Next is the easiest part. Paste the embed code for the video you've decided to use in the actual post field. Click "Publish Post".

Step 5.
Your blog is now ready. Congratulations! You are now a Feed Master!

Your next step is to send us the link to your blog so we can review it to make sure it's working properly and suggest any changes. Once we are satisfied your blog is ready, we will create your video player, add it to our site and generate an embed codes page where other people can grab the code to your video player and place it on their site.

Your only job now is to regularly edit** the post with your video embed code and swap out the video as often as you like (once every day or two is recommended) or as new ones are available
.

**YOU NEED NOT ADD ANYMORE POSTS TO YOUR BLOG AFFILIATED WITH FEEDMASTERS! YOU WILL ONLY NEED TO EDIT THE POST WITH THE VIDEO EMBED CODE REGULARLY! DO NOT ADD ANY MORE POSTS TO YOUR BLOG AND DO NOT ADD MORE THAN ONE VIDEO AT A TIME WHEN SWAPPING VIDEOS! DOING SO WILL ONLY INTERFERE WITH YOUR VIDEO PLAYERS DISPLAY ON OUR SITE AND OTHERS AND WILL GET IT REMOVED! SO PLEASE SEE OUR EXAMPLE BLOG AND STICK TO THE FORMAT! THANK YOU.

READ THIS IF YOU REALLY WANT TO MAKE MULTIPLE POSTS ON YOUR BLOG:

Actually, we recommend sticking to our example blog format because it is the simplest. In fact, it is possible to make multiple posts on your blog without interfering with our video players. However, the posts have to be identical in format and this format MUST be strictly maintained! We don't advise it but for those video bloggers out there intrepid enough to try it, we'll explain how you do it.

It is the same format for creating the first two posts for your blog outlined above. For each video you add to you blog, you MUST create a donation post, just like the first post outlined above, first! Since it can be time consuming to return to PayPal each to retrieve a donation button, we recommend you create a donation post by itself but don't publish it! Save it as a draft. Then, each time you want to add a new video to your site, you can go into the draft you made of the donation post, copy the full post, paste it into a NEW post field and then publish it. Make sure you always make a donation post BEFORE you post each new video remembering to always stick to the format of the two post example blog. If you stick to this format religiously, your posts should not interfere with our video player and you can make multiple posts to your blog.

TIP 1: You're probably asking, "But how do I get my website link in the video player?". That's easy.

Step 6. In your blogger account for your new FeedMasters blog, go to "Settings".
Where it says "Title", type in your website url, example FeedMasters.com. (Please don't not use "http://" or "www." in front of your url, as it is not required and the link won't be clickable on our video player anyway.) Click "Save Settings" and your website url will now show up on your video player.

TIP 2: If you would like to add a clickable link to your website, you may add the following below your donation button:

"Visit this Feed Masters website:" (Link To Your Site - No Pornography Please)

If you still have question about set up or implementation of any part of the above steps, you may contact support through our contact page.

Thank you,

The Feed Masters Staff.
